What is Botox? What is Xeomin? Xeomin® is a neurotoxin almost identical to the Botox except it is a double-filtered formula that removes unnecessary proteins, so you get only what’s needed for smoother frown lines, treatment after treatment. It works in the same way that Botox does.| While its name is not as popularly know as Botox, the results delivered are similar | Dosing per unit is the same as Botox concentration 1:1. Like Botox, it is typically administered every 4 months.
What is Daxxify? Daxxify is a long acting wrinkle relaxer. Daxxify is the first wrinkle treatment wrapped in a peptide and lasts 6 months on average. The peptide enhances attachment of the active ingredient, acting like a magnet and making more toxin available to enter nerve cells. While Daxxify does last twice as long as traditional toxins, you will require about 1.5-2x the units.
What is Revanese? Revanesse® is a line of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers made with state-of-the-art production methods, optimal ingredients, and rigorous quality testing to provide remarkable results. Revanesse is said to cause less inflammatory responses than some of the more popularly known dermal fillers. This is our favorite filler to use for lip enhancements.
What is Sculptra? Sculptra® is a poly-L-lactic acid dermal filler. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers (Revanesse, Juvederm), which fill lines, wrinkles, and folds, Sculptra is the original FDA-approved poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA) collagen stimulator that can improve skin glow and tightness. Restore natural collagen and improve skin quality for firmer, glowing skin in the entire cheek region.
What is a liquid rhinoplasty? A liquid rhinoplasty is a noninvasive procedure to reduce the appearance of a dorsal hump on the nose. It is a surgical alternative in which dermal filler is used to balance out the nose and give it a more straight profile (from the side) appearance. This procedure does not correct the appearance of previously broken or crooked noses. Consult required. This can last 9 months to 15 months.
What is a chin enhancement? Some people have very shallow (non protruding) chins that make the face seem unbalanced from either a forward view or profile view. Dermal filler is used to increase the volume of the chin while helping to provide more over all balance to the face. This can last 6 months to 1 year.
What is Hylenex? Hylenex ® (hyaluronidase)) is a genetically designed protein used as an aid in helping the body absorb/dissolve some types of filler. Hylenex is used to dissolve hyaluronic fillers specifically (Juvederm, Revanesse, Restylane, Belotero, etc). You may want this done if you do not want hyaluronic acid in your lips, cheeks, or chin any longer or if you’ve experienced filler migrat You must wait 10 days before reintroducing new filler.
